An extension of Kids Unlimited, Unlimited Bball has served thousands of youth for more than two decades.
The program provides instructional leagues for grades K-5, summer skills camps and high-profile tournaments for elite travel teams, including KU’s flagship Southern Oregon Open. Utilizing KU’s “Pass to Play” model, Unlimited Bball also provides mentoring and academic and behavior accountability to incentivize and motivate youth in their educational and athletic careers.
Many youth in Southern Oregon do not experience equity in the sports arena — or even have the opportunity to play — because of barriers that include culture, language, economics and transportation, to name just a few. KU’s program strategically removes these barriers and intentionally integrates kids of all backgrounds and athletic abilities. KU also engages parents who never played sports for the same reasons of barriers and inequity.
Unlimited Bball has been life-changing for many participants, including approximately 35 girls who have been recruited to play college basketball on scholarships.
